The Hellenic Organization for Standardization (ELOT), within the framework of the procedures for the development and publication of European standardization documents, submits draft European standards and standardization deliverables to Public Enquiry.
Any interested party may submit comments or proposals for modification regarding the text and technical content of the drafts, as well as observations concerning legislative or regulatory requirements in force in Greece that may conflict with their content.
Comments must be submitted with identification of the contributor, duly justified, and within the specified Public Enquiry period. The deadline for the submission of comments is indicated in the information accompanying each draft European standardization document.
Access to the drafts and the procedure for submitting comments differ depending on the European Standardization Organization, as follows:
A. CEN & CENELEC draft standardization documents
Draft European standardization documents under Public Enquiry are published on the dedicated platform:
https://standardsdevelopment.elot.gr/
Through this platform, users may access the draft documents and submit their comments directly within the system.
B. ETSI draft standardization documents
Draft European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) deliverables under Public Enquiry are published in the Announcements section of ELOT:
For ETSI drafts, comments must be submitted to the ELOT Directorate of Standardization (with the indication “PUBLIC ENQUIRY – Comments”) no later than one (1) month before the voting deadline, which is specified in the details of each draft. Comments should be submitted using the comment submission form included in the relevant announcement.
